Description: Heidi is a classic children’s story. As a toddler, Heidi, becomes an orphan being raised by her Aunt whose circumstances change and can no longer care for her. The Aunt takes Heidi to live with her Grandfather in the Swiss Alps. Her grandfather is a cold man and probably a hermit. Heidi loves the mountain, makes friends and thaws her grandfathers heart. The Aunt returns for Heidi to take her to become a companion to a little girl in a wheelchair, Clara. The story includes helping Clara embrace life and eventually learn to walk again. This is a heartwarming story.
