Description: Hi! PLEASE READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY AND IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE YOU BID! IT IS IMPORTANT! Like every Buy It Now listing I have had on eBay the past 24 years, there is NO DISCOUNT. This for a factory sealed pack of Pokemon Base 2 with Gyarados art. It weighs about 21.00 grams! (The front and back photos were weighed three seconds apart. Pack is clean. Whatever else you see is from my wife's cell phone camera. Based on the weight of this pack, you have about a 50% CHANCE OF GETTING A HOLO IN THIS PACK. (The explanation for this is explained below so please keep reading!) The only 100% guarantees I give are 1) We are all going to die (what a bummer!) and 2) The sun rises in the East and sets in the West. Normally, an early English pack with 11 cards is considered "heavy" if the weight is 21.00 grams or greater. As some of you may know, I am leaving at least 90% of all my Pokemon to my four children, so I really don't have a lot left of Base 2 packs to sell. In fact, I never invested in Base 2 and this is my next to last booster pack of it. If you are going to pick up a Base 2 pack, now is the time to do it since prices are INCREDIBLY LOW RIGHT NOW! PLEASE NOTE! I myself have opened a few English Base packs that weighed as low as 20.93 that contained a holo and I have weighed a few packs as high as 21.06 grams that did NOT contain a holo. Here's my best advice on this since the weight of this pack is right at the 21.00 dividing line between "heavy" and "light." If you were planning to open the pack, be aware that the odds are certainly slightly in your favor. If, however, you were planning to keep this pack sealed for future investment, by all means bid on the pack, ESPECIALLY SINCE PRICES OF UNLIMITED BASE 2 PACKS ARE EXTREMELY LOW RIGHT NOW. And every time a vintage Pokemon pack is opened, the supply of factory sealed packs becomes less. Now, the rules: 1) No discount. I have priced this at $288.88. Here's why. Since this pack is right at the magical 21.00 grams line, it could be "heavy," If it weighed 21.10 grams, for example, I would have priced this at $345 or 365. If instead, it weighed 20.90 grams or less, I would have priced it at $195 or $205. So what I have done is although you have a 50-50 chance of pulling a holo but I am pricing it as if your chances were far less than 50-50.That's good value.
