Description: Was originally purchased from a relative that was a personal assistant to a famous art collector in the 80’s. The box was given to my relative as a Christmas bonus for working a month straight during a purchasing trip in Aysia. This box was handmade for the collector and is a 1 of 1. The detail is intended to capture one’s attention and showcase the craftsmanship of the artist. The stones are coral and turquoise. The box is thick and solid weighing 2 pounds in silver alone. A sturdy hinge on one side allows the lid to open and close keeping one’s treasures safe and secure. Four legs also decorated support the heavy mini chest. Every inch of the outside of this box is decorated with intricate silver wire inlay pattern work. Great condition especially for the age of this piece.
