Description: Gorgeous 54cm Serotta Atlanta for sale, masterfully handmade in Saratoga Springs, New York. Serotta is known as one of the great artisan steel frame builders in this country, and their frames are renowned as some of the best-riding bikes you can find anywhere. Serotta famously built the bikes that team 7-Eleven raced in the Tour de France, and secretly built bikes for numerous other pro racers, who had them painted to look like their sponsors’ (inferior) bikes. People in the bike world know that Serottas are pretty magical — Serotta lovers are cult-ish for a reason! I’m letting go of this beautiful Grail bike because I need to downsize, and I’m unwilling to part with a custom bike built by a friend of mine. This Serotta does not disappoint. It’s one of the smoothest riding bikes I’ve ever ridden, and it handles like it’s reading your mind. The build is immaculate: Chris King headset, Reynolds Ouzo Pro full carbon fork, SRAM Red 22-speed WiFli groupset (175mm 53/39 crankset, 11-26t cassette, Aerolink brakes), Zipp cockpit and carbon seatpost, Fabric saddle, H Plus Son Archetype wheelset with DT Swiss 350 hubs and Enve SES 29mm (!) tubeless tires. The frame is beautifully lugged, with fastback seat stays, drawn from Colorado Concept tubing custom made for Serotta by Reynolds. The Atlanta was Serotta’s 2nd highest model to the CSi, which was fully custom-made for each customer. The paint is a beautiful dark teal, and it looks amazing in the sunlight. Thanks for looking!
