Description: ABOUT THIS ITEM: Very cool "Ranch Phone #39R2" made by the Gong Bell MFG Co., East Hampton, Conn. in the 1950's. Measures about 13.5" tall x 6" wide. It is a combination of lithographed tin, and lithographed masonite. The mouth-piece and ear receiver are plastic as well as the red knobs. When the red knob on top is turned the bell mechanism is activated. The little ringer moves back and forth between the sounding bowls. When the bottom red knob is turned there are some sounds, but none of them are really audible. There are some stains on the top under the mouth-piece and minor scratches on the tin box that holds the ringer mechanism. Very good condition considered it was played with by a child 70 years ago. This piece is an item from my Mother's doll and toy collection. PLEASE NOTE: I do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
