This piece comes with a COA from James Spence (JSA). JSA COA # is NN28972. Picture has a one inch black border on top and bottom and is printed on 11x14 photo paper. This picture and many more that I will listing in the coming weeks was taken by Dr. David Pressman, who as 14 year old boy he wrote a letter to Ted Williams and suggested baking his bats in order to wick away some of the extra water weight. Williams listened and went on a tear at the plate and the two became friends and remained friends until Williams passed away. Because he was close with Williams, he was able to get on field access to take many of his fabulous pictures and then subsequently was able to get them signed. Dr. Pressman passed away in the last few years and his items went up for auction at a small auction house up in NH. Some of his work has been showcased in Logan Airport in Boston as well as the National Baseball Hall of Fame. I was fortunate to snag several incredible signed pieces including 10 different Ted Williams photos or original negatives signed by Ted with full JSA Letter COA, Yaz, Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Clemens, Chipper Jones, Maddux, Glavine, Reggie Jackson and many more.
