Description: Faria Beede Euro White 4" Tachometer - 7000 RPM (Gas - All Outboards) The Faria Beede Euro White 4" Tachometer is a high-quality tachometer designed for use with gas-powered outboards. With its perimeter-lighted black dial bold white graphics black aluminum bezel contoured white pointer and flat glass lens this tachometer is both stylish and easy to read. Electronic tachometers work by counting pulses generated by the ignition system alternator tach signal generator or magnetic pickup sender. The tach is hooked up to +12VDC Ground and one of the signal sources listed. By selecting the right tach and setting the switch on the back to the correct position you let the tachometer know how many pulses are sent per each engine revolution. The Faria Beede Euro White 4" Tachometer has a hole size of 3.375" (85mm) making it easy to install in most boats. It features an anti-scratch glass lens and is designed for use with 12 VDC negative ground systems.
