Description: Name: Two Different Leguminosites Leaves Age: Eocene Formation: Green River Formation Location: Bonanza, Utah Size: Plate is almost 4 inches longWe will be auctioning some cool fossils here over the next few weeks, so keep checking back. Here is a very uncommon plate of leaves from the Eocene of Utah. There are two leaves on this slab of Green River Shale. The leaf on the left is Leguminosites regularis, the one on the right is Leguminosites lesquereuxiana. These leaves have very nice detail and natural shape preserved. Both of these plant fossils have very nice color intact that contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. The distinct leaves are well showcased on the rectangular plate of shale. This is a fine multiple plate of two different types of Leguminosites leaves from the Green River Shale.A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS.com is included with this specimen.
