Description: The_Authentic_Arrowhead_Store ETLEY MORGAN CO MISSOURI This ETLEY came from a large collection out of Morgan Co Missouri. It is obviously authentic and shows nice use with excellent patination. It is made from a beautiful piece of Mozarkite chert. This kind of raised patination / mineral deposits is what you want to see on artifacts from this area! It is quite thin and has no modern damage. Etley culture is Late Archaic in age, ranging from 2,500 to 4,000 years old. The last picture shows the group as a whole. Keep in mind when buying you will only be getting the point pictured on its own. We took the group photo as a means to save the collection history. COLLECTION HISTORY This collection of farm found artifacts comes from a lady in Southern Morgan Co Missouri. These were found on their farm by herself and her family. A friend of mine ended up with this collection and then sold the entire group to me. The entire group was farm fresh with no purchased items or any alterations or re-chips. The collection was all authentic down to the last piece. There were just over one thousand artifacts in this collection. Most if them were Etley culture artifacts. the material most were made of is Mozarkite which is the state rock of Missouri. These artifacts are guaranteed ancient for life and are thousands of years old. Size 3.61 inches in length.
