Description: Etienne DELAUNE engraving The Goldsmith's Workshop etched heliogravure created from an original impression, etched and printed by Amand Durand in France in the 1800s. Despite being over 150 years old, wonderful condition for this etching after well-known miniaturist engraver Delaune. From a 19th century book with the protection sheet still attached. Several minor stains on front and back well outside the plate area. Please see the photos. Image: 3.25 inches tall x 4.65 inches wide; platemarks: about 4.7 x 5.75 inches; Sheet: 7.5 x 10.5 inches.
