Description: The first three images show one of my founders flowering in a 10"/25 cm bulb pan in California. Images four and five show the established offset being offerred for sale, 18"/45 cm tall overall and growing in a mineral substrate in a 3.5"/9 cm rose pot. A handsome hemiepiphytic species of Dicranopygium that originated from the Ecuador-Colombian border that bears a striking resemblance to many bifid leaf species of dwarf understory palms from southern Central America. A beautiful plant with very fine, glossy, pleated leaves when mature. I grow my larger plants on treefern totems but can also be trained to other upright supports. This species appears to grow to a maximum height of ~3'/90 cm in cultivation. Offsets sparingly when mature. All plants offered are greenhouse grown on benches in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Shipping: Plants will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking number for physical addresses within three working days of receipt of payment, weather permitting. 72 hour heat packs are available for an additional nominal charge.
