Description: Dawson’s Creek WB Promo DVD Rough Cut This was an early sample sent to the tv station affiliates to show the upcoming series of Dawson’s Creek. Dated 1997 DVD is in great shape. I do not have the original case for it. This is completely different than the one that aired. The opening theme song is: Hand In My Pocket by Alanis Morisette Mitch Leery is not played by John Wesley Shipp, and is played by a completely different actor whose name is not credited. Mary Beth Peil, who played grams also is not in this episode. Tamara at the video store is in a black outfit rather than the white see-through dress Jens encounter with the football player is a different scene. In the aired episode, he was wearing a blue and yellow CHS jacket, and this version, he is wearing a black jacket. At the end of the episode, Dawson actually sees his mom kiss her cooing, where, in the air version he had already went back inside. Almost all the music is different. Running time is 34 mins compared to 44 with the version. Episodes include 100 Pilot - Episode 1 When it is supposed to go to a commercial, the screen fades and says “COMMERCIAL BLACK” These are rough cut reviews - meaning that the music is temp, and some of the sound effects have not been added. The show never aired any of these episodes in this format with this music, so that makes it extremely rare. Dvd is in excellent condition. Free shipping in the USA
