Description: DAS Harvest Moon MarbleDichroic Hybrid with Cyclone DrizzleMINT-Run Date: 7/10/11 This DAS Harvest Moon run is one of the most successful DAS marble runs since the inception of the company for a number of reasons. The sheer variety of marble families are beyond the imagination...more than a dozen distinct families of marbles in the Harvest Moon run. Also, the coverage of the marbles in the run is typically very good. There was a generous application of gold lutz dusting and gold lutz chunks to many marbles in this run. There are a few guinea marbles with confetti sprinkles from this run, also. This particular marbles does not have lutz or confetti, but it does have a dichroic stripe and a cyclone drizzle. See below for a description of this particular marble. This special marble has a family name called "Icon". It has a bright multitude of great colors including oxblood, green aventurine and daffodil. The coverage of this marble is completely 100% with no sparse areas of boredom...it's quite a spectacle of a marble with this bright color palette. However, the feature that makes this so rare is the thin red dichroic ribbon. This particular dichroic ribbon does not sparkle, probably due to overtemperature. Whatever the reason, please note that it won't knock your eyeballs out of their socket. However, it definitely is a dichroic ribbon. The cyclone drizzle does not disappoint. This is a tight circular pattern and has a nice tail that can be seen in the first photo. These are the type of anomalies that collectors love to find. You really can't go wrong with this one as a special collectible marble. Enjoy. I try my best to take high resolution pictures with flash to show exactly what you are getting. I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views. I use a Canon Rebel DSLR camera with flash to shown as much of the fine details as possible. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is 0.715" in diameter as measured by electronic calipers. Note: the downgrade from mint is due to a shallow crease that is located in the last picture. It follows the swirl line, so it would be hard to see. However, you could find it quickly by dragging your thumbnail across the marble in the general direction.
