Description: Offered here is " D-Day and Normandy: A Visual History " by Anthony Richards, in a first edition third printing (number line 10-3), published by The Imperial War Museums in 2019. This edition includes many color and black and white illustrations. This book marks the seventy-fifth anniversary of D-Day. It draws on the collections of The Imperial War Rooms to provide a rich visual history of the invasion and its aftermath, using images of artifacts, documents, period photographs, art, interviews, firsthand accounts, and film stills. This hardcover book is in Very Good Plus condition. The illustrated boards have white titles to the front cover and the spine. There is a faint scratch (1 inch) on the back board. There is very slight bumping to the spine and the edges. There is bumping to the bottom right corner that results in a crease (1.5 inch) as well as a small indentation (less than 1/4 inch). There are very small areas of edge wear on the corners resulting in only pin-point losses of material. On the inside of the back board, there is a tear on the bottom left corner (1/4 inch), but there is no loss of material. The book block is clean and unmarked, but for a few small marks to the bottom board. The interior pages are all clean and unmarked. The binding is tight.
