Description: Cobra 148 GTL 40-Channel Mobile CB Up for sale is a Cobra 148GTL 40-channel mobile CB radio with single sideband (SSB). Please see photos for physical condition details. Unit is 100% operational, and has had a full PLL alignment. It was used by a previous ower as a base station, and the felt feet are still on the bottom cover. The radio at some point had some sort of sound effects installed, and the holes on the back panel are where the switches used to be. There are two small holes on the top of the radio from a mounting bracket for an old, failed frequency counter. Other than than the holes mentioned and some minor finish blemishes, the radio is in very good condition. All audio tests and reports were clean and clear, with plenty of modulation. SSB tests were equally good. All of the accessories are included as shown. The mic is an original cobra single-screw mic from the late 1970's, early 1980's era as is the CB itself. The radio was converted to 4-pin at some point, and with some mics the mic gain must be run at less than maximum for best results.
