The clear glass crystal has some tiny, light scratches that can be seen under magnification (mostly near the edge of the glass). There is a clear protective cover on the back. It shows some wear at the edges. The watch had the cover when it was new and it can be removed. The watch is tested and it keeps good time. There is some glare in the photos (no white spots). I do not know the case metal type. Nothing sticks to a magnet. The glass is 1 3/8 inches (35mm) across and the case measures 1 1/2 inches (38mm) across. The total weight is 4 ounces. The band closure works as it should. It recharges by exposure to light. When the charge gets low, the second hand moves two seconds with each tick.
