Description: This is a set of 6 nice open-gear tuners, perfect for use on your special cigar box guitar or other homemade insrument. This set includes 6 chromed plastic bushings/ferrules, and 12 chrome-plated screws. Three of the tuners are for the left side of a headstock, and three are for the right side - so you can get two 3-stringers out of this set or one 4-stringer with a couple left over for the next build! The knobs on these tuners are light gray/white pearloid and the metal parts (aside from the brass gear and black screw) are chrome-plated. Please Note note that the exact color of the pearloid buttons may vary from batch to batch (but never within a single packaged set) from semi-translucent light gray to mostly opaque white. These are GREAT little low-cost machine heads!The style of mounting screws may vary slightly from pack to pack, but will always be the consistent within a pack. Also note that the bushings/ferrules included with this offer are chromed plastic, so you can't bash them into place with a hammer or they might crack. Make sure the hole you drill to accept them is properly sized! We also sell metal press-fit bushings/ferrules separately in a range of different finish styles - check our other listings! When installing these tuners, make sure that the gear is towards the body of the instrument, and not the top of the headstock - as shown in the photo. This ensures that the string pressure pulls the gears tighter together. Mounting them backwards can cause slippage once the strings are under tension. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE READ... We ship packages via the U. S. Postal Service, either First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International. While these services generally get packages anywhere in the world in 1 to 2 weeks, sometimes it can take longer - this is almost always because the Customs Office in your country delays the package. In some cases it has taken up to 4 weeks for a package to be delivered. We will not consider an item as "lost" until at least 30 days have passed from the time of shipment. This may mean that our packaging materials occasionally show some shipping scuffs, labels, printing or other markings, but used cardboard does the job just fine.
