Description: CDN-14 6" Pretabbed Wick | CDN Candle Wicks The CDN series features a flat braided cotton wick with a special paper filament to promote maximum and consistent capillary action while ensuring a wick trimming flame posture. The difference between Stabilo KST (CDN) Wick and Stabilo (CD) Wick is a subtle but vital one. The Stabilo KST (CDN) candle wick curls less while the Stabilo (CD) candle wick curls more. Overall, they tend to burn cooler than the CD wicks in most waxes. This helps when using softer waxes, like coconut blended waxes. CDN wicks will curl at approximately a 30-degree angle. The CD wicks curl to a 90-degree angle. The lesser angle or curl of the CDN wick means that your candles will have a smaller melt pool or base. Our German made, USA assembled CDN 14 wicks are primed in a high melt point natural wax, are pre-cut to 6" lengths, and are tabbed using a 20mm round wick tab with a 6mm neck.Note: We recommend testing new wick sizes when making any modifications to existing candle recipes or making new candles. Burning characteristics can be altered by changes in wax, fragrance oil, dye, and/or additives, which could result in a different optimal wick size for the same diameter candle.
