They have long thick often curled silvery, whitish colored leaves that fold downward straight and curl underneath at the ends. Plants will get violet fragrant bloom on long spike. Plant you receive may or may not be in spike / bloom depending on availability, size, will always send in spike when I have any. These Exotic Tropical Plants are an Easy care plants that grow well most any where, great mounted with other tillandsia showing off different appearance. Tillandsia can be grown indoors or out, can be placed in a tree (warm climates) greenhouse, window or well lighted room. Misting often is great but also please thoroughly drench once or twice a week your Tillandsia like they would get from Florida rainstorm. Then be sure they are dried out before next soaking. My handling time ( 5 or 10 business days ) allows for shipping most items at begining of week, weather conditions, the pulling plants from stock including offsite greenhouse which I visit usually only once a week. Plants are prepared for shipping which includes for most a day of hydrating followed by a day to allow plants to dry. Plants like Tillandsia and Vanda orchids need to be completly dry prior to boxing. Shipping damp in a warm dark place increases chance for fungus to develop. Recomend you always do preventative treatment on any plant shipped and then water throughly to rehydrate.
