Other Cables This is a custom, made to order Y Splitter Cable for philips hue GRADIENT LightStrip that will allow to to run 2 philips hue GRADIENT LightStrip parallel from the same Control Box. With this cable you connect a 2m Starter LightStrip into one socket and a Extension LightStrip run into the other, then plug it into the end of an existing LightStrip. There are multiple scenarios for which these can be used. For example, you may want to light under 2 different kitchen cupboards. This will not work in between any cut edges of LightStrip. The GRADIENT will be set by the longer of the 2 lightstrips. The GRADIENT will mirror the other LightStrip. Each Lightstrip will start at the same colour and run in parallel with one another. If a Lightstrip is shorter, it will only show the equivalent portion of the GRADIENT. All of our philips hue GRADIENT LightStrip Cables, Leads and Extensions are made with the proper connectors for the philips hue GRADIENT LightStrip system. Control Box ❯ Starter LightStrip + Extension LightStrip You Choose The Size These cables are made to measure, to the exact size you need. If the size you need is not in the options, just purchase a length that will accommodate the length you would like, then drop us a note with your exact specifications. Length is from plug tip to socket tip, excluding any external pins. Any length can be made. It's the same price for any size up to a metre, and a little more for every additional metre after that. If you would like a length longer or outside of the available options, simply ask. We're using a 20 metre long cable and it is working perfectly, so they will go further than you think. These can be made in Black, Grey or White Flat ribbon cable. This splitter cable will be made with Flat White Ribbon Cable, unless specifically requested otherwise. As all of these cables are custom made to order, we kindly ask you to make sure the cable you order is the one you need. We can figure it out.Fitting Instructions Please turn off the lightstrip at the wall before plugging these cables in. Although the lightstrips will plug into the connectors either up, they will only work one way. If it doesn't work, turn it off at the wall and plug it in the other way up. It shouldn't damage the lightstrip if you plug it the wrong way up, as long as its not powered of for too long. philips hue LightStrip Cables and Solutions Whilst our cables and adapters are being used by ourselves without any problems, you use them at your own risk. It is recommended that you connect no more than 10 meters of actual LightStrip to one Control Box. LightStrips and Control Box are not included.
