Description: This novelty cheroot holder was probably carved in the Black Forest in t he 19th or early 20th century. It depicts an old man with a big nose. He is wearing a black nightcap with a red tassel. The pipe is well carved and only four inches long. The bowl would fit a cigarette or small cheroot. It doesn't appear to have been smoked.
