Tarzan of the Apes #744 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1933) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges; the covers have retained ok reflectivity/color; the front cover entire right-hand edge has color loss; the back cover has color loss for about 1/3 of the left-hand side (up to the chimp's paw) and most of the right-hand spine; the front inside cover is starting to detach from the interior page and also has a creased top inside edge; the binding is not attached to the interior pages. (Additional details added: 11/2/20 - Pages 219/220 and #315/reverse side, no # - are detached.) $65.00. Tarzan The Fearless #769 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1934) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges, the top left-hand edge has a slight tear, the right-hand edge is indented; the covers have retained ok reflectivity/color; there is light pencil writing (a name and date) on the inside first page (it does not affect the story). $50.00. Tarzan The Fearless #769 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1934) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges, the front cover bottom left-hand edge has paper loss and splitting and color loss up the spine, the bottom edge has color loss for about most of it, the covers have retained good reflectivity/color; the back cover has an indented bottom left-hand corner; pages #218 to the end are detached; the inside cover and first page have writing in pencil (it does not affect the story). $29.00. Tarzan of the Screen #778 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1934) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges, the front cover spine has color loss from the top to the bottom; the covers have retained ok reflectivity/color, the binding has color loss at all four corners and the reflectivity/color is faded; the back cover bottom right-hand edge has an indent and color loss, the left-hand edge has color loss in several areas, the bottom spine edges have color loss; there is writing in pen on the first and second pages (but the story is not affected). $45.00. Tarzan of the Screen #778 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1934) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges; the front cover bottom left-hand corner is chipped, the front cover spine has color loss from the top to the bottom; the right-side edge has a chip near "Mate"; the covers and binding have retained ok reflectivity/color; the back cover has color loss at the left- and right-hand edges, the bottom left-hand edge has indent creases, the top right-hand edge has an impact crease; the inside first page has a small piece missing at the bottom right-hand edge, the 2nd page also has a chip out at the bottom right-hand corner as well as a chip and tear about 1/4 from the top (the story is not affected). $35.00. New Adventures of Tarzan #1180 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1935) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges; the front cover right-hand edge has rippling and creasing near Tarzan's arm/hand, the bottom left and top right-hand edges have impact creases, there is some color loss at the bottom edge; the covers have retained good reflectivity but do have some color loss in spots; the back cover has some color loss at the bottom edge, the top right-hand corner has an impact crease. $35.00. Tarzan Lord of the Jungle #1407 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1946) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges; the binding has a tear at the bottom left-hand edge; the back cover has an extension of that tear at the bottom right-hand spine corner, the top right-hand corner has tearing; there is writing in pencil on the inside cover and first page (the story is not affected). $20.00. The Beasts of Tarzan #1410 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1937) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges; the front cover is starting to detach at the top and bottom edges; the front and back covers have so-so reflectivity/color; there is a dirt smudge on the front cover in the 'N', three of four of the corners are indented; the back cover top and bottom left-hand edges has impact creases, the binding is starting to tear away from the interior and has an impact indent at the top edge. $20.00. Tarzan and the Lost Empire #1442 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1948) - There is some wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges; the covers have retained good reflectivity/color; the front cover top left-hand edge has a tiny tear, there is a small amount of color loss at the right-hand edge above "And the Lost Empire"; the back cover top right-hand edge has an impact crease and color loss; the page are cream-colored. $20.00. Tarzan the Untamed #1452 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1941) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges; the front cover has some color loss at the right-hand edge, there is an impact crease at the top edge in the "R", the covers have retained ok reflectivity/color; the back cover has some color loss at the top left-hand, bottom and spine edges; there is a small tear at the top right-hand corner; the bottom right-hand corner has color loss. $35.00. Tarzan the Terrible #1453 (Whitman Publishing Company, 1942) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges; the front cover has retained so-so reflectivity/color; the front cover bottom spine has an approx. 2" split, the top edge is slightly tearing; the back cover and spine have substantial color loss; the first page has writing in pen (the story is not affected); the binding is starting to pull away from the pages. $15.00. Tarzan in the Land of the Giant Apes #1467 (Whitman Publishing Company) - There is wear, rounding and/or creasing at the front and back corner edges; the front cover has some creases, one at the bottom, another at the right-hand edge near Tarzan's arm and some at the top edge; the front cover has retained good reflectivity/color; the spine has tearing at the top corners; the back cover bottom right-hand corner has an approx. 1/4" tear; the reflectivity/color is so-so but there is color loss in various areas and a name written in pencil on the right-hand side; the first page has "15" written in pencil (the story is not affected); the pages are cream- to brown-colored. $17.00.
