Description: This fabulous peasant dress is a rare find! Possibly made from late 50's-early 60's. In a day where interstates and highways were opened up across America, making vacations and road trips a popular pastime. The dress features pics of cars and road signs of the day. It even has a little pocket on the skirt of the dress. It would have been an original dress for a Bild Lilli clone made in Hong Kong. It's a wonderful dress, however, it does have issues, mainly on the top bodice. The material on the bodice is thinner than the skirt. There are stains on the bodice and it's yellowed with age. The snap on back is loose. The dress skirt doesn't appear to have any issues. This dress needs iust the right person and a little tlc to shine again! Happy Shopping! Often these clothes and dolls have been stored for 50 years or more, they may have a musty odor and just need to be aired out in the sunshine- i try to do that before i sell them. I try to never buy things from smokers, but i recently bought a lot that smelled of smoke and i couldn't smell it- i am getting help with that. But, if something is wrong from my end, i will fix it.
