Description: This is a nice early Baxter double ended adjustable wrench, patented 2-12-1856, one of the first of its type, still it is unique and rare. This one is not marked by the maker. It measures 8 1/2” long overall. The slide and screw is still working very well, along with the adjustment screw and threads. This is an early casted wrench, so some pitting from the original casting of the wrench is normal, but some of the pitting may have been from rust somewhere in the past.
