I bought this at a garage sale back in the 1980s when I was decorating my own new home with vintage- It is heavily rusted and awesome for outdoor decor, or clean it up a bit and use it inside - Originally a bird cage, but no longer appropriate for that purpose ... for use as decor only- Has a large circular perch with chain on the inside- A narrow "door" lifts for access to the interior, although it it a tight squeeze to get your hand inside- Stands on its own, but also has a large ring on top that could be used as an attachment for hanging, but would need a chain- It is perfectly imperfect and will look great in your vintage home or cabin!
