Description: I picked an excellent group of ships clocks a couple months ago from a very high end clock auction and after going over, repairing a few and inventorying starting to get them up for sale. I've always tried to bid on Seth detached bell clocks before and they always went high. This is fine Seth Thomas marked WH Blurock that is running and striking fine and for those who don't realize they go up to 8 strikes every half hour for a total 4 hour watch. So 12 midnight would be 8 strikes 12:30 1 strike 1 am 2 strikes til 4am being 8 change of watch then 4:30 back to 1 strike. I believe it is a 30 hr movement unlike the time only double mainspring 8 days. I can't swear the person that remarked the dial did it correctly, the WH looks like might have been WK and googling Blurock Seattle all that comes up is Blue Rock, maybe the previous owners name? I'll redo if requested by buyer and have good paint/markers and some lacquer thinner. But everything else is all good and original and it runs great just incase I didn't mention that. Very pleasant bell and they have a double hammer so they truly are neat and very collectable.measures about 11" tall x 7" wide x 3 1/2" deep. All clocks come with a proper size key and when possible original proper age key. I've been dealing clocks for about 30 years full time and part time when working and I try to purchase the upper end clocks but also handsome running nice lower end clocks for all price ranges. I think I have it priced for good value to my customer and you are getting a gone over, carefully packed, guaranteed runner not a as is/no returns. Plus being so rare and a Seth ships bell its absolutely going to maintain value. I go over all my clocks before shipping and make sure I didn't miss anything and try my best to pack well. Everything goes insured just in case and my items are returnable. Please respect that and it does take a bit of time, I've been dealing clocks for over 30 years now, but boxes do occasionally get mishandled.
