Description: Antique NATIONAL CHINA SALINEVILLE OHIO Blue with Rose Chain 3 Cups&Saucers 18K. These cups and saucers are remarkable semi-porcelain pieces with beautiful blue trim and pink Roses within a detailed chain. The cups are back stamped “WARRANTED 18 CARAT GOLD HANDLES”. The saucers back stamp reads “NATIONAL CHINA SALINEVILLE”. There is something else just after Salineville but I’m unable to read. 1900 --THE NATIONAL CHINA COMPANY 1922 The National China Company was formed in 1900, by John Stamm, J. H. Warner, Thomas Williams and Samuel Larkins, who built an up-to-date plant (Now Laughlin No. 1) and began the manufacture of Semi-Porcelain and Decorated Ware. Later this company traded this factory for the old Laughlin No. 1 and a substantial bonus. This plant was later sold to the Harker Pottery Company and is now called their Factory No. 2. The National China Company then purchased a plant at Saline-ville, Ohio. Condition Excellent for age - no chips or cracks or crackling. There is wear on the gold trim. There are a couple of bumps on the underside of the saucers but this is part of the manufacturing process - not damage. One cup also has a dark speck - this seems to be within the glaze. Please see pictures. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
