Featuring an embossed repousse oval brass frame, both handle sides are marked BB in script. Once side houses the original mirror, the back is finished with a charming image of colorful Pansy flowers underneath clear celluloid. Condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage to the frame - it retains the original warm patina to the brass -- the mirror has several small areas of discoloration around the edge - probably a reaction to the original glue used to stabilize it within the setting. This is just the sweetest little piece - dates to the early 1900s and was probably designed to carry in a reticule or similar.
