Description: I have always been a big fan of early majolica pieces and this piece is gorgeous!These ieces were early and the glazes were somewhat crude. I feel that flea bite roughness when I run my fingers around it but I don't see anything that would really qualify as a "chip". There is plenty of crazing but I see no cracks. I believe this piece is worthy of being an addition to a collection.
