Description: This antique Knights Templar Masonic ceremonial sword and the 19th century Knights Templar ceremonial belt were purchased from an Antique Dealer over 30 years ago. It has been part of my late husband's collection of swords, who was a sword maker himself. The silver scabbard shows some discoloration and pitting, but is in good overall condition, considering its age.The name "John Nichols" is engraved on the ornate blade, which is etched with decorations on both sides of the blade. It is made by "Horstmann Philadelphia", which is engraved at the base of the blade. The handle and pummel are decorated with Knights of Templar symbols in bronze and enamel. The belt shows signs of wear with some cracking, yet is in good condition with chains. Good deal, with belt included.
