Description: This is an original etching from the 1830s, replicating an even older piece of art (from 17th century? - see pic) of Rembrandt's house in Amsterdam. The artwork is on thin card with protective (rice) paper covering. It measures 6 1/2" (width) x 10" (height). The actual image measures 6 1/4" height x 4 1/2" width. It weighs 1/4 oz. Great as a gift or for the collector of etchings / lithographs, antique wall art, vintage prints, paintings, pictures and other rare artwork. This item shows signs of age and wear as all great vintage items do. Examine all the pictures closely. It has some "tears" on the very edge of the card (see pic).
