My jeweler strengthened back side of clasp and bows by adding gold so now this clasp can bear big weight of corals - 150-200grams. Also he make back textured surface so all dents are not so good visible as it was before. There are factory's marks on the clasp - oak leaf. Such high level jewelry 200 years ago could afford only very wealthy people. The clasp was made by hand - all elements of it are so tiny and thin. The time on making such clasp could take a half of year or even more.
