Description: This American Legion Past Commander Ribbon Pin a unique piece of historical memorabilia. The pin features the American Legion words, with US in the center within a gold 5 point star. This particular item, we believe, was produced in the United States with a pat pending mark "Pat.Dec.9,1919 L.G.B.Co". The Ribbon has 7 gold tone bars with the years 1933, 1934, 1938, 1939, 1958, 1965 and 1966 on them respectively. We think the ribbon is newer, it's not possible to see what the older bars are made of without taking them off - the others we think are just gold tone, but again...we aren't sure!
