Description: Welcome to ANTIQUES & MOORE! This listing is for a stunning American Brilliant Period cut glass trumpet vase, c. 1880-1900. The upper body of the vase has a multiple cut patterns above a zipper cut lower body (upper stem) with a swirl cut large knob separating the narrowing stem below . The upper rim is cut in a saw-tooth pattern and the base is cut in a multi-point star. Measures 12" high with a 4 1/2" diameter top and 4 3/4" diameter base. Weighs 3.5 pounds. This nice vase is in excellent Estate condition with no major flaws although there is one small flake on the edge of one of the diagonal swirls of the knob. There may be a tiny nick in the design somewhere that we have missed, however, we have looked the vase over carefully and find no other flaws.
