I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in good condition overall. Its slipcase has some signs of wear including some tears starting around the outer edges. The book itself' hardcover has a few flaws as well that affect its externals. That being said, the inside pages are in overall great condition. **Photo#3:-Spine edge: Mostly tiny indents/scratches all around its middle. **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Small dings/indents at/around where it meets each cover. -Lower spine corner: Moderate compression - causes a light indent on the spine edge itself, and a ~1/2" indent // small tear at it on each cover. Small indent shows on pages at the same location around the lower corner, and continues on thru most pages, growing smaller/lighter as it travels. **Photo#5: -Front cover top edge: Light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Tiny/light indent/scuff. **Photo#6:-Front cover bottom edge: Light if any shelf-scuffing.-Outer corner: Tiny/light scuff. **Photo#7: -Back cover top edge: Tiny/light ding near its middle, another small one towards the outer corner, otherwise light levels of shelf-wear if any.-Outer corner: Tiny indent/scuff. **Photo#8:-Back cover bottom edge: Small ding towards the outer corner, otherwise light levels of shelf-wear if any.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff. **Additionally: Front cover possesses indents/scratches/dings ranging size-wise from tiny to ~2" in a ~4"x~5" cluster near its center/page edge (photo#9, photo#10 w/illumination). Back cover has a smaller (~2"x~2") patch of them in the same location (photo#11 w/illumination), with two ~1.5" horizontal indents towards its upper half. Light ~4.5" diagonal indent/scratch near the bottom edge. Both covers have some light shelf-scuffing/streaks around their peripherals, the most prominent being vertical ones near/along their spine edges. ***Slipcase (photos#1,2,9,10): Small dings/indents around its corners where they meet each cover panel. Some mostly light shelf-scuffing/marks along the bottom panel. Front panel has a small discoloration/smear patch at its upper half. Back panel has a small indent adjacent its outer/open edge. ~3.5" tear where front panel's top edge connects to the outer/open edge, ~2" on the back panel's. ~2.5" tear where back panel's bottom edge connects to the outer/open edge. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit.
