Use an alternating over-and-under pattern when performing this act. Be sure that the cable is run through each and every individual eyelet; this will help to secure the cover properly.Step 2Weave the cable into the eyelets on the side of the winch cable tightener. With the winch horizontal, place the thumb grip in a vertical position so that the ends of the cable can be weaved through it. They should overlap completely with extra cable left over.
