These postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s, and show LANDSCAPES and RURAL VIEWS. These type of postcards were very popular because they looked like ART PAINTINGS. The postcards show homes, water views, sunsets, trees, relaxing nature views, etc. Publishers like Tuck & Sons made these type of postcards popular because of their beautiful design and colors, and they became souvenirs for the recipient to cherish. The postcards are nicely drawn, have good detail, and are pleasing to look at. These are good postcards to add to a collection because of their attractive nature. They would appeal to collectors because of their nice designs, how they capture the design style used back in the early 1900s, and how they provide a glimpse of life back in that era. They are from different publishers. Overall, a nice selection of antique Greetings postcards at a reasonable price. The postcards are UNPOSTED (5) and POSTED (4) with cancel dates of 1907-26. Some of these postcards would have been "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards (1908-1915 era). The postcards are flat printed and they have DIVIDED backs. Two of the postcards have foreign stamps, and one of those is removed. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. Regarding condition, please note that we try to remove damaged postcards from our lots, and only sell those postcards that are worth having in a collection. However, because of their age, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, and edge wear on the postcards. We do not want you to be disappointed. Look closely at the photos we provide to see the postcards and the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope. We only ship within the USA; we do not ship internationally. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS Ground Advantage when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz. We combine shipping whenever possible. If you purchase multiple lots, you can wait and we will send you an invoice for the combined shipping before you pay.
