Description: 21" Antique Doll - Simon Halbig Head stamped SH 1079 - 10 DEP This is a super cute doll. No blank stare here. She has a lot of personality. She wears an old red plaid dress with embroidered lace collar (embroidery is a bit weathered), old socks and newer boots. Her wig is antique mohair. Her body is beautiful. Nice antique condition. Perhaps her hands have been repainted. I don't know for sure. Nail polish doesn't appear to be well done. Doll is jointed at neck, shoulders, elbows, writs, hips & knees. Body is stamped Germany. Her cheek has an abrasion on the blush part. (as pictured) There is a firing crack at the crown of the head with a hairline extending down from that.
