This coin is a symbol of a scarab beetle and pays tribute to Khufu, best known by his Greek name Cheops. He is the creator of the Great Pyramid of Giza. This coin has a mintage of only 1,500 and comes with a themed box and certification of authenticity. The obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau along with an image of a winged scarab and two Egyptian symbols which is the Eye of Ra, and the ankh, which represents eternal life. The reverse shaped as a three dimensional scarab with a Swarovski crystal in the center. It is decorated with Cheops birth name as well as his throne name in hieroglyph style.
