For sale we have a 2002 Les Paul Classic Premium Plus model with an astounding flame maple top, finished in an attractive Honey Burst. The “Premium Plus” aspect of these guitars refers to the flame that spans the entire width of the body. This particular guitar has an especially deep flame with some light quilting around the edges. It’s especially breathtaking to see in-person, and very 3D looking. The guitar’s top visually changes according to the angle you view it from, and looks incredible under stage lighting. This guitar is equipped with some stout Burstbucker Pro Vs that feature the more powerful AlNiCo V magnet. The resulting tone is punchy and clear, and can push most tube amps over the edge of breakup. This guitar will sing leads, loud and proud over a mix, while visually captivating the audience at the same time. The guitar is in fantastic condition, with only a handful of light scratches on the back of the body, and no dings or dents. There is a touch of very minor corrosion on the metal parts but nothing to detract from playability, feel, or tone. One of the latches on the case does not work, but this doesn't stop the case from being able to close and protect the guitar. The guitar has been professionally setup with fresh strings set to play low and effortlessly. There’s no fretwear to speak of, and the frets have been polished. The fretboard has been conditioned and the electronics have been cleaned. This instrument is gig-ready.
