Each unit can feed 1 line and 6 telephones. More phones can be added with a simple inexpensive lamp expander. (separately available) MUSIC-ON-HOLD (MOH) capability is now included. (Buyer provides audio source) It is powered by an included 12 Volt adapter, We also have an inexpensive 12 Volt battery pack available for portable and show usage. Connections are relatively simple for anyone familiar with 1A2 systems. The CO input can be from a standard telephone line (48V). This can be from hardwire to telco OR an analog feed from almost any Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) including the analog connections provided by many cable and ISP providers. This will also work with any 48V PABX The output jack on our KSU is an 8 pin RJ45 type modular jack This provides the standard 3 pairs for 1A2 plus a pair for CO which can also feed ringer (Y/SL) We provide a standard 4pr cable with 8 pin plug for punch-down (included). We also offer an optional cable terminated with a 25 pair Amphenol connector in the line one position on virtually all 1A2 telephones. (extra cost) We have positioned this product as a solution for a small 1A2 system and alsoas a perfect system for demonstrating 1A2 at shows or other events.
