Description: 1998 GMC Suburban K2500 4x4 This GMC has only had one owner aside from myself. It's lived 100% of it's life in Southern California. I purchased it from a family friend who happened to own Energy Suspension, the polyurethane bushing manufacturer. So it has some urethane bushing upgrades throughout the suspension. He became reclusive and the GMC sat for nearly 4 years until his passing. It was then graciously offered to me through his relatives. I say all this to simply give you some insight into where it came from and explain its current condition. The truck runs and drives great, I'd take it anywhere. Exterior: It has not been garage kept as seen in the pictures as the Socal sun took its toll on the paint for much of the hood and roof. There's a dent near the fuel lid where he drove off from a gas station with the pump handle still attached. Light dents, Medium scratches and sun baked paint is the best I can describe the body. Headlights have been polished and stored The Windshield has been replaced. The American Racing Wheels have been kissed by the sea salt air with medium etching, and will need a little more elbow grease to restore them back to original looking condition. I believe the tires are 10 years old and are in need of replacement. Light surface rust from the salted air can be seen on the undercarriage but I have zero concern of it affecting anything but the surface of some parts. Newer Bilstein Shocks have been installed at one point. Interior: Everything is factory with the interior. The leather is still in good condition. Everything works aside from the A/C it continues to lose it's charge and will need serviced. The dash had a pretty large crack in it so a dash cover was installed although not an exact matching color, it doesn't look bad at all. The carpet has been stained in various spots but has received a recent carpet shampoo and extraction treatment. The driver side visor tab will need replaced. I do believe a mouse found it's way inside at one point but no damage to interior wires were ever found. Third row seat is missing. Engine and Trans: It's a bone stock Vortec 454 Big Block with a 4 Speed 4L80E transmission, shifts as it should without issues. The engine runs great with no check engine lights. New battery installed. Idler Pulley replaced. Visible stains can be found on the engine and will likely need further detailing. 4 Extra air filters will be included. To the best of my knowledge this is what I know of this vehicle in the short time that I've owned it. It would make a great daily driver or easily brought back to glory days condition.
