Description: AN OBSCURE, UNDER-THE-RADAR FIND FROM THE 1990'S. A TRUE SLEEPER IN THE WORLD OF MODERN TUBE AMPS.This is a CRATE VINTAGE CLUB 50 ELECTRIC GUITAR TUBE AMPLIFIER. Model VC5115. Made in the USA. 50-Watt amp with a 15 INCH EMINENCE SPEAKER that sounds HUGE and FULL, plenty of bottom. This thing sounds awesome. True spring reverb with controls for each channel. The A channel has great clean tone all the way up the dial with loads of head room. IT IS LOUD! The Gain Channel B has a wide range of control... from just on the edge of break up to full shred distortion Crate amps are known for.This thing sounds incredible. Recently serviced. It idles quiet. EVERYTHING WORKS. Clean controls, no scratchy pots. I have installed a matched set of JJ 12AX7 Preamp tubes. All the Sovtek power tubes test strong on my Hickok 6000A tube tester. Only issues worth noting are a couple missing screws on the back panel and an extra hole on the top near the handle. Please look at the pictures for condition. Less than normal aging and patina for a professional performance worthy amplifier. READY TO GO! You can take this out to play a gig the day you get it. As a basic test I have operated this amp for at least 4 hours recently and it did not fail, smoke, throw sparks, blow fuses, start on fire, etc. As a general disclaimer... Old electronics are scratched, worn, chipped, cracked, dirty, dusty, stained, ugly, tinkered with, missing parts, etc. The exteriors have wear that includes cuts, holes, tears, scuffs, missing stitching, missing or replaced feet, handles, knobs. In the course of servicing over the years, they typically do not have all original components. Old electronics typically hum and have scratchy controls. Often the pictures are the best describer, so LOOK AT THE PICTURES before you buy. Old electronics can fail at any time. I do not warranty any electronics past your initial inspection.
