Description: Pictured is a 1980 Canadian dollar commemorating the Northern Territories. This one has the polar bear on the reverse and Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. I have several of these and this one, pictured, has light toning on the edges of the obverse. The coin is 50% silver so it has .375 oz of silver, slightly more silver than a Franklin half dollar. It comes in a plastic holder which is in a clam shell type case and the cardboard sleeve. All three pieces can be seen in the last picture. This is an uncirculated coin that came directly from the Canadian mint, so they have never been put into circulation and they have a mirror-like finish, beautiful coin. If you prefer one without the toning, just email me, but the toning on this one is rather interesting. Not all of the coins have the same toning. But, toning or not, it's a beautiful coin, great design, and a nice way to invest in silver. As of Jan 2023 I sold the one in the picture, the rest have very little toning, if any.
