1976 masi gran criterium road bike *Italian Built* Ready To Ride!

Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Masi GRAN CRITERIUM built in 1976. Serial# E56 This is an especially rare example as it was one of the last Masi Gran Criteriums built by Masi in the original Vigorelli velodrome workshop, Milan Italy. It is a great classic italian bike from the middle 70's, Equipped with: Campagnolo Super Record groupset, handmade with Columbus SL tubes, size 54 seat tube x 54,5 top tube (center/center) original chromium plating in very good condition. Campagnolo Super Record groupset in very nice condition, new clinchers and inner tubes, new housing and wires, cinelli bar tape, new campy bar ends, campy Athena pedals, specialized armadillo elite tires, cinelli volare slx seat,no defects, ready to ride. Weight 9,7 kgs. Front tube 13,5 cm. Standover measure 79 cm. It came in pieces and I had it put together by a local bike shop here in Pittsburgh . They also fitted the bike with new tires and the cinelli saddle. The bike still wasn’t shifting perfectly so at that point I took it to “ wheelfine imports” in New Jersey (look them up on Google maps and you’ll see my review and pictures)and had it looked over and set up again by Mike, the vintage bike wizard, and it was like a totally different bike after that. This thing really rides and shifts beautifully now. It is an absolute joy to ride and I will miss seeing it go but hopefully to someone who really appreciates it! Unfortunately, I do not ride this bike as much as I’d like to see it go to someone who will really appreciate it. Since the bike is set up so well it would be best for the buyer to pick it up.
