From the moment you walk up on this truck there's no denying the quality of the resto. The panel fit is near flawless and we can see that all the gaps are even and symmetrical. Down the sides are laser straight on this truck, and all the side trim flows beautifully from the front to the back. This truck is finished out in the gorgeous 2 tone hunter green and silver color scheme with the paint having been done in base coat clear coat here. Countless hours have been spent wet sanding buffing and polishing it to a show-ready mirror finish. Inside the bed, we can see that it is custom-fitted with a new bed floor, bed floor trim, and that the bed has been done in silver to match the two-tone color scheme. You'll also notice that the gas cap has been removed and that a custom billet gas filler has been added to the bed to keep it clean. Every piece of chrome and stainless looks to have been redone or replaced. The front grill and bumper are stunning along with the bezels and lights. Out back we can see that it's fitted with a custom-built rear bumper that's molded for the exhaust tips and has the led tag lights. You'll also notice that the tail lights have been upgraded to the LED option. This truck has dual sport mirrors and has had the antenna upgraded to power. This truck is set off by the custom-built Boyd Coddington Wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires 285/40/19 on the front and 335/30/20 on the Rear. Next, we will look at the interior of this Pick-Up. The quality flows perfectly to the interior as the two-tone scheme carries perfectly. You'll notice the door panels are just as slick as the exterior and we can see that a great job with all the details. This truck is upgraded with power windows, but they used the custom kit that uses factory-style cranks to work them. You'll notice this truck has the TMI dark gray bench seat that was custom-done and has the suede insert accents. It also has a custom-built console that houses the automatic shifter and has built-in cup holders with LED base and the wipers control. This truck has a painted two-tone dash that has a beautiful finish. All the little details on this truck are excellent from the side stripe carrying over to the jams, to the two-tone top carrying down the A pillar to the dash. The radio has been upgraded with a Pioneer head unit and a custom-built box behind the seat that houses the Pioneer speakers and Sound Ordinance Sub Woofer. We can also see that Air Conditioning & Heat has been upgraded to the modern system that uses the controls in the factory location. This Resto Mod pickup also sports the upgraded Digital 6 Pack of gauges. New visors were also installed at the time of the restoration and the roof is just as slick as the outside of the cab. To finish off the interior it has a tilt column with a new billet wheel that pulls the look together perfectly. Finally, we will great to the driveline of this GMC. Under the hood, there is no denying the quality of the restoration. The fire wall has been slicked down with the power booster having been hidden and we can see that all the inner fenders and finishing bolts are done in stainless. It has Billet Eddie Mortorsports Hood Hinges. The power comes from the GM Performance LS3 6.2L/430HP Fuel Injected Engine. It sports a beautiful engine cover that provides the perfect two-tone complement to the rest of the truck. The LS3 is mated to the Supermatic 4L65 E transmission that flows to the 9" Ford with Posi Traction setup. When you look under this truck you will continue to find components that make you impressed with the eye for detail. All new body bushings were installed, and the frame was powder-coated at the time of the restoration. It has a custom drive shaft loop that is also channeled for the exhaust system. The rear and middle supports are also channeled for the exhaust. Speaking of the exhaust you'll notice it has stainless pipes with the H pipe and Borla ATAK mufflers. For suspension, this truck is set up with the Four link set up out back along with the pan hard bar. Under the front, you have tubular upper and lower control arms along. This '65 does have coil overs on all four corners. For steering it's been upgraded to a Heidt's Power Rack and Pinion Set up. For brakes, it has the four-wheel Wilwood Disc brake package that features drilled and slotted rotors. New fuel and brake lines were installed along with the new stainless gas tank that has the custom filler and vent. On the highway, this truck is a blast to drive.
