Description: This is a vintage original issue of Lebanon Fortnightly La Quinzaine Du Liban for July 1st to 15th, 1962. This is a small magazine of 28 pages plus two small foldout maps and the covers measuring about 7.75” x 5.5”. The front cover is printed “With the Compliments of MEA – Middle East Airlines”. The last page indicates this magazine was a supplement to Cedarwings which was the magazine of Middle East Airlines so I believe this is also published by that airline. This magazine is basically an entertainment and travel guide for visitors to Lebanon with lots of advertising and information on shopping, hotels and everything going on in Beirut and Lebanon. This issue also has information on the International Festival of Baalbek which was held in July 1962. This magazine is a vintage original artifact of Beirut when the city was flourishing and cosmopolitan destination with lots of shopping, recreation, nightlife and tourism.
