Description: The 28 signatures include HOF’S NELLIE FOX, MINNIE (Orestes) MINOSO, GEORGE KELL. Also BILLY PIERCE, SHERM LOLLAR, PHIL CAVARETTA, CHICO CARRASQUEL and a rare DIXIE HOWELL, who passed away at the age of 40. In 2019, I submitted this ball to Beckett for authentication. The L.O.A. was mailed to me shortly after, and I immediately stored it with my other COA’s. When I reviewed it recently, I discovered that they had made 2 significant (to me) errors. The COA claimed that the ball was from the 1956 team, the signatures, such as Phil Cavaretta, show the ball to be a 1955 ball. They also wrote that there were 25 signatures: there were actually 27. I went to a show in the mid-90’s and had the FERRIS FAIN signature added to the ball. **If you will compare the Beckett photo to my photo of the panel displaying FRED MARSH, NELSON FOX, MARTY MARION and CHICO CARRASQUEL, they will both show those signatures in the same location, the same size. This ball has been part of my 35-year collection of White Sox memorabilia, and I guarantee it to be 200% AUTHENTIC,
