Description: Rare Jennings Silver Chief 5c Slot Machine. Finely detailed and wonderful craftsmanship make this Jennings slot machine one of the best looking ever made. They also created one of the best mechanical mechanisms ever produced for slot machines, which makes this overall a superb collectable. A beautiful machine with mirror-finish silver front and the signature Indian Chief emblem. It has chrome plated castings. Produced by O.D. Jennings in the mid 1930's The chromed details are exquisite. The previous owner fully restored the machine 20 yrs ago and still spins the reels nicely when you pull the lever. No need to enter a coin. The lock on the back has also been restored and is included. The only thing is I do not know if it pays out as I have never won. However i do hear some clicking sounds after the reels stop spinning. Overall a one of a kind and very rare slot machine. I believe there were less than 300 ever produced. The machine is very heavy. The nickels are not included. There are a few at the top that will come with the machine, but not all of the ones in the photos. Local pick up is preferred. This is not a standard shippable item due to the weight. You can arrange to have the item shipped through a 3rd party or I can manage the shipping for a fee.
