Last time identical bowl was sold on eBay in 2013 according to WorthPoint. This exceptionally impressive centerpiece bowl is spectacularly decorated with a relief pattern featuring three graceful swimming nymphs, nude ladies or mermaids, which beautifully express both movement and elegance. The nude figures appear to float in weightless harmony atop sweeping curves and beaded veils which emphasize musical rhythms and bodies in motion. The elegant design that stylishly flows around the bowl and is an absolute delight to behold. This exceptional piece has been crafted in opalescent / opal glass which glistens with an exquisite vaseline-like quality and exhibits contrasting tones from cool blue to fiery orange depending on the lighting conditions.
